Specialist Expertise in Lymphoedema Surgery & Craniofacial Surgery

 

 

Dr Vani is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Adelaide.  Dr Vani undertook specialist surgical training in Plastic Surgery in Australia and New Zealand, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).  He then dedicated another two and a half years to purely train in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery in Adelaide at the internationally acclaimed Australian Craniofacial Unit, in Wellington (NZ) and in Rotterdam (Netherlands).

 

Dr Vani undertook further fellowship training in Microsurgery at a high-volume microsurgery centre in Winnipeg, Canada with Dr Edward Buchel.  Dr Vani also completed a dedicated Lymphoedema Supermicrosurgery fellowship with hands-on experience at the National Centre for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo.

 

Dr Vani is actively involved in volunteer work in East Timor and Indonesia through Overseas Specialist Surgical Association of Australia (OSSAA).

 

Dr Vani is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australian Lymphology Association and the Plastic Surgery Research Council USA.
